Details below.

Hear we go again with an incredible new Jazz Muse Concert that we should
probably call the Jazz MASTERS Concert this time around!
Joining me as our featured artist is the incredible saxophonist Bob Mintzer.
Bob is the woodwinds player for the multiple Grammy-winning band
The Yellowjackets as well as a renowned composer and arranger with his
own Grammy-winning big band. He's worked with a host of jazz masters
including Tito Puente, Art Blakey, Thad Jones, Mel Lewis, Jaco Pastorius,
the Brecker Brothers, and Peter Erskine and many others. Bob is currently
chaired faculty at USC and the chief conductor of the WDR Big Band
in Cologne, Germany.

As if that's not enough, we have an all-star band joining us, starting with
pianist/composer/arranger Alan Pasqua. Alan is a collaborator with a broad swath of pop and jazz royalty—from Tony Williams, Bob Dylan and John Fogerty to Jack DeJohnette, Paul Motian, the Brecker Brothers, The Thad Jones/Mel Lewis Jazz Orchestra, Sheila Jordan and Joe Williams
to name but a few.

On bass we have the incredible Darek Oles. Darek, a protege of Charlie Haden, is one of the most in-demand bassists in jazz. His style has been praised as being in the tradition of Scott LaFaro and Bill Evans. He is on the music faculty of CalArts and USC.

And last but not least we have the legendary drummer Peter Erskine
(aka Dr. Um) with us. Peter has fifty albums that have been released under his own name or as co-leader. He has played with the Stan Kenton and Maynard Ferguson Big Bands, Weather Report, Steps Ahead, Joni Mitchell, Steely Dan, Diana Krall, Kenny Wheeler, Mary Chapin Carpenter, The Brecker Brothers, The Yellowjackets, Pat Metheny and Gary Burton, John Scofield, et al, and has appeared as a soloist with the London, Los Angeles, Chicago, Frankfurt Radio, Scottish Chamber, Ensemble Intercontemporain, Royal Opera House, BBC Symphony, Oslo and Berlin Philharmonic Orchestras.

Award-winning vocalist Janis Mann is a Los Angeles favorite and performs
often in New York, notably at the Blue Note, Dizzy's, and the Kitano.
The popular Jazz Muse Concert Series features her in concert with other jazz masters including Laurence Hobgood, Kenny Werner, Ernie Watts,
Roy McCurdy, George Colligan and many others. Her latest CD, “Dreams of Flying” with pianist Kenny Werner was a Downbeat Editor's Pick
and WRTI Philly DJ Bob Craig's pick for Album of the Year. She has released eight successful jazz albums, songs from which have become a staple of radio
and streaming services. Janis has performed with Diane Schuur, Roy Haynes, Terrell Stafford, Dave Frishberg, Jack Sheldon, John Clayton, the Caribbean
Jazz Project, Roberta Gambarini, and a host of other jazz luminaries.

The concert will once again be at The Village in West L.A.,
one the best small concert venues in town.

The Village is one of L.A.'s most legendary recording studios.
You can see by the multitude of gold and platinum records on the walls
